- Jeff Heuerman TE - Replaces all-world TE Ralston Fowlers 26 catches who went to Oakland. Heuerman has shown the ability to do a little bit of everything as evidenced by his 14 catches in Buffalo.
Dion Jordan - Pass Rusher from the end, picked up to replace the retired Aldon Smith. Jordan has picked 10 sacks 7 times over the year.
Brock Delgado RB - Franchised RB, was a must resigning. Team leader and captain was important to bring back for team chemistry
Ereck Flowers RT - Replace the retired Justin Pugh. Flowers is a strong RB blocker who is expected to step right in.
Kenneth Lane RG - Retained the NYG offensive line leader. Bringing back Delgado meant we needed to retain his top blocker
